Let’s notice what is international cooperation, local development, civil society-communities: International cooperation encompasses all professional activities aimed at supporting people in need and promoting economic, social and cultural development around the globe. International cooperation covers the fields of humanitarian aid, development cooperation and peace promotion.
So well, it is about the study of available and future processes and mechanisms dedicated to development at the global/gloCal level and to potentiate/link them to the capacity for absorption/application of this at the local level, thus highlighting its importance. So the importance of the local dimension to ensure the global urgency of the 2030 agenda which now gives priority to local implementation, during this decade of action! That is to say the implementation!! This master's degree responds to the lack of capacity of future people responsible for projects and the transfer of capacities to civil society and of course to the questions of financing the climate gap thanks to xxxxx...
In short, a master's degree to know how to use international instruments (financing, solutions, support, regulations) to implement solutions locally! A master's degree training operational people on the connection of international cooperation to sustainable local development through the empowerment of civil society and communities.

The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master on Climate Adaptation and Development, International Cooperation (GLoCal Gateway-IntCo) is a two-years Master Degree course (120 ECTS) that aims to prepare specialists of sustainable International cooperation for development in the context of global climate and environmental emergencies. This unique, inclusive, high-quality, innovative, multi-languages, Erasmus Mundus Joint Master is mutually managed by a consortium of 2 EU and 2 non-EU universities and 1 EU and 2 non-EU professional partners.
A Master's degree supporting the European policy establishing the neighborhood, development cooperation and international cooperation instrument as described in June 2019 (https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/FR/TXT/PDF/?uri= CELEX:32021R0947&from=EN) and reinforced by the Paris agreements (including the latest publications of the NTPA and the UN during COP28 etc.)

Aligned with the Erasmus+ Work Programme and the EU's commitment to fostering carbon-neutral societies, GLoCal Gateway-IntCo is guided by environmental and climate justice principles, aiming to achieve the following objectives:
- Empower and advance the knowledge and skills of young individuals in sustainable development, climate action, and International Cooperation within Europe and globally, bolstering their career opportunities.
- Establish a collaborative network among young individuals and experts in professional institutions to heighten their international appeal, thereby enhancing the caliber of their academic offerings and research endeavors.

C3) the RIGHT to STAY-YOUTH Instruments: Local and Regional development (University of Valencia UV, University of Nantes EIFFEL and EDBA); teaching languages: Spanish and French
C4) the NATURE-GENDER Based Solutions: Environmental Management, Agriculture, Blue Economy (University of Toamasina and University of Daloa); teaching languages: French
From the a.y. 2024/2025 until the a.y. 2030/203, the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master GLoCal Gateway-IntCo will support 90 talented students from all over the world with study scholarships, and 30 other students with partial support, fee waiver or self-funded, through an inclusive, quality and innovation-driven education.
